Paul is our driver in Scotland. He is originally from the North of England but has lived in Estonia for the last 7 years. Paul has travelled extensively, and is passionate about Scotland, which due to family connections he has visited since childhood. Paul is very interested in history and Scottish culture, an avid supporter of the Scotland Rugby team and is occasionally seen wearing a kilt. He would be more than happy to share his love of Scotland with you and discuss historic events, clan history and heritage, tartans, whisky and all things Scottish.

SANDBERG REISID REISITINGIMUSED

1. Reisileping ja reisikorraldaja vastutus
1.1 Sandberg Reisid juhindub oma tegevuses Turismiseaduses, Võlaõigusseaduses ja muudes Eesti Vabariigi seadusaktides sätestatud tingimustest.
1.2 Sandberg Reisid reisikorraldajana vastutab selle eest, et reis vastab kirjeldusele ja kliendile antud lubadustele.
1.3 Sandberg Reisid ei vastuta kahju eest, mis on tekkinud force majeure´i tõttu (sh, kuid mitte ainult loodusõnnetused, sõda, poliitilised vahejuhtumid, streigid jms), aastate keskmisest erinevate ilmastikuolude vms. tõttu.
1.4 Reisi hinna sisse kuuluvad ainult teenused, mida on kirjeldatud reisi kirjeldavates materjalides, kirjalikus pakkumises või arvel. Lepingu sisu ja reisi puudusi hinnatakse nende andmete valgusel, mida reisikorraldaja on reisi müües ja reklaamides andnud.
1.5 Reisijal lasub omavastutus reisikindlustuse hankimisel. Kui reisija haigestub, temaga juhtub õnnetus või ta satub kuriteo ohvriks, abistab reisikorraldaja teda kõigiti, reisija tasub sellega seotud lisakulud.

2. Reisi broneerimine, lepingu sõlmimine ja reisi eest tasumine
2.1 Reisija ja reisikorraldaja vaheline leping muutub mõlemale poolele siduvaks hetkel, kui reisija on valinud reisi ja tasunud ettemaksu (1/3 reisi maksumusest). Ülejäänud summa kuulub tasumisele 2 kuud enne reisi.
2.2 Reisi broneerimiseks tuleb täita kodulehel sandberg.ee olev broneerimisvorm.
2.3 Reisikorraldajal on õigus reis ära jätta, juhul kui reisile ei ole kogunenud nõutav arv reisijaid. Reisikorraldaja on kohustatud reisi ärajäämisest reisijaid koheselt teavitama.

3. Annulleerimistingimused
3.1 Reisi annulleerimisel reisija poolt ei tagastata kulusid, mis on annulleerimise hetkeks reisi ettevalmistamiseks kulunud. Kui reisi annulleerimise hetkel on reisi ettevalmistamiseks kulunud summa suurem, kui reisija poolt tasutud summa, siis tuleb reisijal vahe kompenseerida.
3.2 Juhul, kui annulleerimise hetkeks ei ole reisile kulutusi tehtud, jääb broneerimistasu ettemaksuks tulevikus toimuva reisi eest või tagastatakse hiljemalt reisi toimumise alguskuupäevaks va punktis 3.3 toodud juhul.
3.3 Kui reisi annulleerimine toimub vähem, kui 2 kuud enne reisi, siis ettemakseid ei tagastata.
3.4 Kui reisijale ei väljastata viisat või ei võimaldata tellitud reisi sihtpunkti asukohamaa ja/või sihtpunkti jõudmiseks läbitavate riikide transiitviisat või muid vajalikke lubasid, käsitletakse seda reisi tühistamist ilma olulise takistuseta ning kohaldamisele kuuluvad käesolevate reisitingimuste 3.1 sätted. Kui reisija ei pääse maale, sest teda ei lasta üle piiri, tuleb reisijal tasuda kõik oma koju tagasitulekuga seotud kulutused.
3.5 Kui reisija jääb kohale tulemata või ei saa reisile minna, kuna puuduvad vajalikud dokumendid, reisi maksumust ei tagastata.
3.6 Punktis 2.3 märgitud juhul tagastab reisikorraldaja kõik ettemaksed täies ulatuses.

4. Reisija kohustused ja vastutused
4.1 Reisijal on kohustus järgida reisi ajal reisikorraldaja reisi puudutavaid juhendeid ja reegleid, samuti hotellide ja transpordivahendite sisekorraeeskirju ning ametivõimude ettekirjutusi.
4.2 Reisija ei tohi oma käitumisega häirida teisi kaasreisijaid. Seda reeglit jämedalt rikkunud reisijat võidakse reisile mitte lubada või reisilt kõrvaldada ja tal ei ole õigust reisi maksumuse tagasisaamisele.
4.3 Reisija vastutab kahju eest, mida tema tahtlik või hoolimatu tegevus põhjustab reisikorraldajale, kaasreisijatele või kolmandatele isikutele. Reisijal on keelatud ilma reisijuhi nõusoleku ja teadmiseta: kalduda kõrvale ette nähtud marssruudist, teha muid ennast ja/või teisi ohustavaid tegusid.
4.4 Reisija on vastutav isiklike reisidokumentide kehtivuse ja korrashoiu eest.
4.5 Reisija on teadlik ja võtab endale täieliku vastutuse ning kahju tekkimisel selle kandmise kohustuse seoses reisil läbitavate (s.h külgnevate) piirkondade poliitilis-majandusliku olukorraga kaasnevate ohtudega ja lisaväljaminekutega; vääramatu jõu toimel põhjustatud reisi katkemisega ja/või pikenemisega jmt.
4.6 Reisija on teadlik reisil osalemisega seotud kõrgest riskisusest ning osalemise tagajärjel tekkida võivatest traumadest, vigastustest, püsivast invaliidsusest või surmaga lõppeda võivatest sündmustest.
4.7 Reisija tagab oma tegevuse range vastavuse reisi korraldaja, tema esindaja või tema poolt määratud instruktori korraldustele ja juhistele.

5.Hinnad ja hinnamuutused
5.1 Reisi hinna sisse kuuluvad ainult need teenused, mis on kirjeldatud reisi tutvustavates materjalides, kirjalikus pakkumises, arvel või mis on kokku lepitud reisija ja reisikorraldaja vahel. Kui reisija ei kasuta mõnda hinna sisse kuuluvat teenust, ei ole tal õigust selle eest raha tagasi saada.
5.2 Reisikorraldajal on õigus reisipaketi hinda tõsta ja ka kohustus reisipaketi hinda alandada järgnevate asjaolude ilmnemisel:
5.2.1 Eesti või sihtkohamaa maksude, lõivude ja teenustasude muutumine, kui need mõjutavad reisi hinda;
5.2.2 transpordihindade muutumisel, kui need ei allu reisikorraldaja kontrollile ning mida reisi planeerides ei olnud võimalik ette näha;
5.2.3 Valuutakursside muutumisel.

6. Vead reisikorralduses ja nendest teatamine
6.1 Reisikorraldaja on eksinud, kui reis ja pakutavad teenused ei vasta reisikirjeldusele ja reisijale antud lubadustele.
6.2 Puudusteks ei või pidada reisi kui terviku seisukohalt väheolulisi muutusi, mida sihtkoha ja reisi iseloomu arvestades on võidud eeldada.
6.3 Puuduseks ei või pidada ka reisi ajakava muutumist, kui muutus on tingitud reisikorraldaja kontrollile allumatutest asjaoludest ja ei ületa kahte ööpäeva.

7. Puuduste kõrvaldamine
7.1 Reisija on kohustatud viivitamatult teavitama reisikorraldaja esindajat sihtkohas erinevatest puudustest või pretensioonidest reisikorralduse kohta.
7.2 Reisikorraldaja on kohustatud tehtud vea kohe parandama. Reisikorraldaja võib jätta vea reisi ajal parandamata vaid juhul, kui see osutub võimatuks või kui see põhjustaks talle ebaadekvaatseid kulutusi.
7.3 Kui puudus on jäetud eeltoodud põhjusel kõrvaldamata, on reisijal õigus saada kompensatsiooni, mis proportsionaalselt vastab vea suurusele paketi kogumaksumusest.

8. Kahjude korvamine
8.1 Reisikorraldaja korvab reisija tervisele ja varale põhjustatud kahju, kui see tuleneb reisikorraldaja või tema esindaja tegevuse(tuse)st.
8.2 Kui viga parandatakse ja tekitatud kahju korvatakse sihtpunktis, ei ole reisijal õigust nõuda teistkordset korvamist Eestis. Kahju korvatakse proportsionaalselt tekitatud kahjule.
8.3 Reisikorraldaja ei vastuta kahjude eest, mille on põhjustanud temast sõltumatud asjaolud (force majeure).
8.4 Reisikorraldaja ei vastuta kahjude eest, mis on põhjustatud reisija enda tegevusest ja hoolimatusest.
8.5 Reisikorraldaja ei vastuta selle eest, kui reisija satub kuritöö ohvriks.
8.6 Pretensioonid ja nõue kahju korvamiseks tuleb esitada reisi toimumise ajal või hiljemalt 5 tööpäeva pärast reisi lõppemist kirjalikult.

9.Reisitingimuste kehtivus ja tõlgendused
9.1 Käesolevad reisitingimused muutuvad kummalegi poolele kohustuslikuks peale reisilepingu sõlmimist (punkt 2.1).
9.2 Reisitingimuste tõlgendamisest tulenevad erimeelsused lahendatakse läbirääkimiste korras reisija ja reisikorraldaja vahel. Kui kokkulepet ei saavutata, on õigus eriarvamust käsitleda Tarbijakaitseametis. Kui kokkulepet ei saavutata ka sel teel, siis lahendatakse lahkarvamused Eesti Vabariigi seadusandlusega ettenähtud korras.

KARL SANDBERG TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Travel terms and conditions in short:

– After booking the trip, we will send you the first invoice, 1/3 of the tour price, which confirms the booking.
– The rest of the payment shall be paid 2 months prior to the commencement the trip.
– When booking the trip, it is recommended to take out travel insurance as well as trip cancellation insurance.
– For one-person registration, this does not automatically incur an additional one-room payment.
– It is important to make sure that your passport is valid for 6 months after the trip (tour outside EU).
– More detailed information will be sent to you 2 months before the tour.

1. Travel agreement and liability of the travel provider
1.1 Karl Sandberg operates under the terms and conditions listed in the Tourism Act, the Law of Obligations Act and any other legislation of the Republic of Estonia.
1.2 Karl Sandberg as the travel provider is liable for the trip being in accordance with its description and promises made to clients.
Karl Sandberg is not liable for damage caused by an event of force majeure (including, but not limited to, natural disasters, wars, political incidents, strikes, etc.), weather conditions differing
from the average of previous years, etc.
1.4 The price of the trip only includes services that have been listed in the materials describing the trip or the written offer or the invoice. The content of the agreement and any shortcomings of
the trip will be evaluated based on the information that the travel provider has provided when selling and advertising the trip.
1.5 The traveller is responsible for obtaining travel insurance. If the traveller falls ill, is in an accident or is a victim of a crime, the travel provider will help them in any way possible and the traveller will pay for additional expenses relating to that.

2. Booking the trip, signing the agreement and paying for the trip
2.1 The agreement between the traveller and the travel provider becomes legally binding for both parties when the traveller has chosen the trip and made the advance payment in the amount of 1/3 of the cost of the tour. The rest of the payment shall be paid 2 months prior to the commencement of the trip.
2.2. To book a trip, a booking form on the website sandberg.ee shall be filled out.
2.3 The travel provider retains the right to cancel the trip if there is not a required number of travellers for the trip to take place. The travel provider is obligated to immediately inform the
travellers about the cancellation of the trip.

3. Cancellation conditions
3.1 When the traveller cancels the trip, expenses that have been spent up to the moment of cancellation on preparing the trip shall not be repaid. If by the moment of cancellation, more expenses have been spent on preparing the trip than have been paid by the traveller, the traveller shall pay the difference.
3.2 If by the moment of cancellation, no expenses have been spent on the trip, the booking payment will become a booking payment for a future trip or will be refunded, except in the case of events listed in clause 3.3.
3.3 If the cancellation of the trip occurs less than 2 months prior to the commencement of the trip, payment shall not be refunded. If the traveller is not issued a visa or a transit visa necessary to get to the destination of the trip they ordered or any other necessary permits, this situation will be seen as a cancellation without any significant obstacles and conditions listed in clause 3.1 will apply. If the traveller cannot enter a country because they are not permitted to cross the border, the traveller shall pay for all expenses related to the return journey.
3.5 If the traveller does not show up or is not able to go on the trip because of missing documents, payments will not be refunded. In the case of conditions described in clause 2.3, the travel provider will offer a full refund.

4. Traveller’s obligations and liability
4.1 The traveller is obligated to follow any guidelines and rules pertaining to the trip set forth by the travel provider, as well as hotel and transportation rules and regulations and orders of legal authorities.
4.2. The traveller shall not disturb fellow travellers. If the traveller grossly violates this rule, they may not be permitted on the trip or may be removed from the trip and they will not have any
claim to be refunded.
4.3 The traveller is liable for the damage they cause, willingly or unwillingly, to the travel provider, fellow travellers or third parties. Without the travel guide’s knowledge and permission, the traveller is prohibited from: straying from the agreed upon route, any other activities that may danger them and/or others.
4.4 The Traveller is responsible for the validity and care of their personal travel documents.
4.5 The traveller is fully aware, responsible and liable for any damage and additional expenses caused by dangers relating to the political and economic situations of the travel areas (incl. surrounding areas), trip cancellation or prolongation caused by events of force majeure, etc.
4.6 The traveller is fully aware of the high risk associated with being on the trip and of any trauma, injury, permanent disability or death that may occur as a result of participating.
4.7 The traveller guarantees that their actions will be fully in accordance with the orders and instructions of the travel provider, their representative or an instructor appointed by them.

5. Prices and price changes
5.1. The price of the trip only includes those services that have been listed in the materials describing the trip, in the written offer, on the invoice or that have been agreed upon by the
traveller and the travel provider. If the traveller chooses not to use a service included in the price, they will not be refunded.
5.2 The travel provider retains the right and has the obligation to raise the price of the travel package in the case of following circumstances:
5.2.1 changes in the taxes, charges, fees of the destination country, if these affect the price of the trip;
5.2.2 changes in transportations prices, if these are out of the travel provider’s control and that could not have been foreseen when planning the trip;
5.2.3 changes in exchange rates.

6. Travel provision errors and notifying
6.1 The travel provider has made an error if the trip and the services offered do not match with the travel description or promises made to the traveller.
6.2 Changes that are insignificant in relation to the trip as a whole and that could be expected considering the destination and the nature of the trip, cannot be considered errors.
6.3 Changes in the time schedule cannot be considered errors, if the change is out of the travel provider’s control and last for no longer than 48 hours.

7. Eliminating shortcomings
7.1 The traveller is obligated to immediately inform the travel provider’s representative of any shortcomings of the destination and of any complaints about the travel arrangements.
7.2 The travel provider is obligated to immediately rectify any errors. The travel provider is permitted not to rectify an error only if doing so is impossible or if it would cause unreasonable
expenses.
7.3 If an error has not been rectified because of the aforementioned reason, the traveller has the right to be compensated in the amount that is proportional to the error in relation to the full
price of the package.

8. Compensation
8.1 The travel provider will offer compensation for any damage to the traveller’s health or property resulting from the travel provider’s or their representative’s actions/lack of action.
8.2 If the error is rectified and compensation if offered for the damage at the destination location, the traveller has no grounds to demand a second compensation payment in Estonia. Any damage
will be compensated in proportion to the damage caused.
8.3 The travel provider is not liable for damage caused by an event of force majeure.
8.4 The travel provider is not liable for damage caused by the traveller’s own actions or negligence.
8.5 The travel provider is not liable if the traveller is a victim of a crime.
8.6 All complaints and compensation claims shall be submitted in writing during the trip or no later than 5 working days after the end of the trip.

9. Validity and interpretation of travel terms and conditions
9.1 These travel terms and conditions become legally binding for both parties after signing the travel agreement (clause 2.1).
9.2 Any disagreement resulting from the interpretation of the travel terms and conditions will be resolved by negotiation between the traveller and the travel provider. If an agreement is not
reached, the issue may be discussed by the Consumer Protection Board. If an agreement is still not reached, any disagreement will be settled in accordance with the legislation of the Republic
of Estonia.

Kerge:käimist ca 1-3 km ja kuni 3 tundi päevas, peamiselt tasane maastik, kõrguste vahe minimaalne.

Kergelt aktiivne::käimist kuni 10 km ja 2-5 tundi päevas, päevane kõrguste vahe kuni ca 500m, võib esineda järske tõuse/langusi ja ebatasast maastikku.

Keskmine:käimist kuni 15 km ja 4-6 tundi päevas, päevane kõrguste vahe kuni ca 1000m, võib esineda järske tõuse/langusi ja ebatasast/libedat maastikku. Ööbimiskõrgus võib olla kuni ca 4000m.

Raske:käimist kuni 20 km ja 6-8 tundi päeva, päevane kõrguste vahe võib olla üle 1000m, võib esineda järske tõuse/langusi ja ebatasast/libedat maastikku. Ööbimiskõrgus võib olla kuni ca 5000m. Eelnev matkakogemus soovituslik.

Väga raske:käimist võib olla kuni 25 km päevas ja kuni 10h, päevane kõrguste vahe võib olla üle 1000m, võib esineda järske tõuse/langusi ja ebatasast/libedat maastikku. Ööbimiskõrgus võib olla üle 5000m. Eelnev matkakogemus vajalik.
